The reason the Main Price screen shows 0 for Straw and Hay price is sadly because the base game and farming simulator engine does not differentiate between loose material and bale material, even though you'd expect to get paid more for bales because of how much extra time is required to create them, pick them up and transport them. The reason for this is that Realismus felt no one would ever buy trailer loads of Straw and Hay, so that's why they blocked the selling of loose material.
In fact check the prices in the Seasons Menu to see when the best time of year is to sell your Straw and Hay bales and work from that. Straw Bales and Hay Bales do have value, despite it not showing on the prices screen in the main menu and can be sold as normal.
